SKYLANDERS: SPYRO'S UNIVERSE

CUTSCENE ARTIST - Online (2011)

I was part of a small group of VV artists tasked to create a cutscene for the Spyro's Universe web portal.

Before a final art style was decided upon in Santa Monica, I created these storybook illustrations as an exploration of simplified shapes and colors with textured shading.

The legendary purple dragon, one of Skylands' heroes.

This animation test illustrated how careful layout choices and motion could bring static images to life.

The spirit of a wise Portal Master, who would narrate the cutscene.
